Bussy Road Clearing – October 2025
Bussy Rd ditches and low-hanging limbs and branches have been trimmed and cleared.

Blake Street Clearing – August 2025
The Blake St. ditches and Right-of-way have been cleared of brush.

Sidewalk Repair along Hwys 208 & 85 – Summer 2025 – completed.
All sidewalks have been repaired and curbs removed along Hwys 208 & 85. Repairs were also made along Jordan Dr. and Ridgeway Rd.

Walking Trail Light Conversion – Spring 2025

The Walking Trail lights Have been replaced with LED Lantern style fixtures.

Oneal Drive Repaving – September 2024
Oneal Dr was milled and repaved from Pitts Dr to Jordan Dr ” The Business District”. This included restriping the street and the parking places.

Ridgeway Rd Repairs- Sept. 2023 – January 2024 

Ridgeway Road had areas repaired and then the road has been restriped.

New Crosswalks on Walking Trail – January 2024

New “Piano Key” style crosswalks have been installed where the Walking Trail crosses city streets.

Street Sign Replacement Project – March – Winter 2024

We are in the process of replacing all of the street signs in the city. The new signs are 9″, high-intensity prismatic aluminum signs that meet the latest gov. standards for visibility and size.

Current project – updating traffic signs that are faded or missing.

Street Lights have been converted to LEDProject 100% complete Feb 15, 2023 

We are pleased to announce the town of Waverly Hall has engaged the services of Georgia Power to convert all of the Street Lights in the city from high pressure sodium to new, long-lasting LED technology.
